Harris Associates’ graphic designer Caroline Byford is celebrating after being nominated for the Marketing Newcomer Award at the Marketing Excellence Awards 2009.

Twenty-three-year-old Caroline joined Harris three years ago after leaving Art College and hasn’t looked back, helping to create and implement numerous marketing campaigns for a string of clients.

Caroline and the Harris team will be marching down to a lavish awards ceremony in London early next year to see if she can round off a great year in style.

Director Jim Harris said: “What has impressed the directors at Harris Associates, as much as her ability to diversify and develop within the design arena, has been her ability to become a marketing-led designer with the potential to progress into an all round marketing professional. There were over 300 submissions for the award so it is a fantastic achievement for Caroline to be nominated. We’ve every faith that she’ll scoop the top prize!”
